INFO  //  FR

We are looking for volunteers for this year's Common Aliens: Diaspora in Time to act as the life force creating the aura of four days worth of programming created primarily by and for artists and community members of colour. All volunteers will be required to go through our anti-oppressive training in person or virtually before the series.

Safety
Support participants with emotional needs and challenges that may arise through the series by talking and giving space.

Childcare
Hang out with and watch out with babies and kids in the childcare space and during other events. We will provide art supplies. If you need hours for your program, we will issue you a formal letter indicating your hours and tasks.

Food
There will be several meals served that are open and free which will need hands helping our cooks with preparation and during the events.

General Logistics
Help with general needs that come up before and during the series, including putting up posters, keeping an eye on the space, accomodating accessibiity requests, setting up and taking down chairs and tables, and doing door. If you can drive and have a license, you can help pick up our presenters, and food.

Media & Documentation
Reaching out to media outlets and coordinating interviews with presenters, sending out events to places we've never even heard of but are relevant. Documenting the series itself to shape the aesthetic of our future memories.
