FLORENCE YEE
Florence Yee is a Montreal-based visual artist, currently studying for her BFA at Concordia University. Her core practice lies in painting, but is expanding towards installation and fibers. She is interested in postcolonial cultural studies, gender issues and representations of the "Other." She spent summer of 2016 in a long term residency with the Ottawa School of Art, where she had her first out-of-town solo exhibition.
