KIRAN AMBWANI
Passionate about people, their lifestyle, and the arts, I am a professional photographer based in Montreal. Specializing in portraiture and documentary photography, my work is shaped by my background in anthropology and environmental science and my numerous travels.
Driven by a curiosity for the problematics encountered by marginalized populations, I have shared my environmental & humanitarian preoccupations with the public by having my work diffused by several international publications and by participating in group & solo exhibitions in Canada and abroad.
I am a graduate of McGill University and the Dawson Institute of Photography in Montreal. I was born in Lucknow, India, in 1978.
